Alaska Antwerpen-Waasland: History

Alaska-Waasland
Alaska Antwerpen-Waasland is the result of a merger of two offices, Fidulemco (Hamme) and Accountancy firm Vercammen (Antwerp). Fidulemco’s history goes back to the year 1984, the year Manu Lemmens decided to leave a large accountancy firm and set up his own company. Partners and employees joined Fidulemco and made it grow into a professional and successful accountancy and consultancy firm in the heart of the triangle Antwerp-Brussels-Ghent. Accountancy firm Vercammen was founded in 1973 by Erwin Vercammen. Over the years, the firm gained an excellent reputation in Antwerp. Erwin Vercammen is also auxiliary vice-president of the Instituut van Accountants en Belastingconsulenten (Institute for Accountants and Tax Consultants). With the takeover in 2007 of Accountancy firm Vercammen by Fidulemco, both companies resolutely opted for the future and chose the name Alaska Antwerpen-Waasland.
