About us
Mission Statement
Alaska is a Belgian economic interest grouping of independent accountant and consultancy organizations with the mission to support the members and to enable cooperation so as to optimize their high-quality knowledge for their clients. This objective is captured in our baseline: “More than you know, more than you think”.
Philosophy
Alaska targets seven key areas:
- Profitability. Just as in any other company, our members must generate sufficient business profit to secure their existence and growth and to increase the (economic) well-being of employees.
- Quality. To support members in striving for continuous, high-value quality in services in those fields in which they work.
- Ethics. To encourage members to provide professional services while observing professional and society’s values and standards. Alaska promotes clear communication, respect, honesty, openness, and integrity.
- Services. To provide the widest range of services possible using experts in the fields of accounting, auditing, tax law, and (broad) business law.
- Growth. Membership growth in order to ensure services are available nation-wide. Growth will occur in a controlled and systematic manner.
- Man and his environment. To encourage members to provide an excellent work environment enabling employees to work with mutual respect, support, and wholehearted effort. After all, employees constitute the most important asset of our member organizations.
- Mission. Our mission is to facilitate the activities of our members and to enable development, further determined by:
- Striving for improvement and growth of results in these activities;
- Developing a group strategy and common insight;
- Promoting the sharing of knowledge and cooperation;
- Developing activities in marketing, branding and communication;
- Recording and monitoring professional quality, ethical, and performance standards;
- Support in the area of personnel and office space;
- Maintaining external contacts and participating in consultation platforms.
